Many of us are deeply shocked when they hear they´re pregnant with triplets or more.They guess the higher risks for mother and children, they are alarmed and anxious and very often afraid. After a troublesome pregnancy nearly all the babies are being born prematurely by cesarean section and have to be looked after on an intensive care unit. Even if given the utmost care and the best medical therapy unfortunately some of them don´t succeed in such a difficult start of life and some remain handicapped for the rest of their lives.

When the little ones are released from hospital and get home, a difficult time begins for the family: the „basic care“ ( preparing the food, feeding or nursing, changing the diapers, bathing) takes up already about 16 hours a day. Sleep during night time is only possible with interruptions: about three times for two hours each.

ADuring the daytime there´s too much work to be done, among others the multiple washing of the babys´clothes.
Many babies need a special kinesiotherapy four times a day. This takes up 3 hours a day. The big effort during the first 3 years makes a household-help absolutely necessary. Many families can´t afford to pay for this with their own financial means.
